Maximizing Benefits for Local Lodging Businesses
Local lodging businesses can significantly boost their visibility within the community and beyond by supporting local events and promotions.
Seasonal promotions can potentially increase lodging stays during the “off” or “shoulder” seasons, increasing annual revenues and extending the period of employment for key staff members.
Many local event organizers don’t have funding to effectively promote their events. TBID investments in marketing these events could increase the number of visitors and expose visitors to more of what Trinity County has to offer.
All of this translates into more tourism-driven revenue for lodging business owners and the many other businesses that visitors frequent during their stay.
Events like the 4th of July parade, Lewiston Peddlers’ Faire, and our amazing Music Festivals provide unique opportunities to attract tourists.
TBID funds could be used to ensure visitors to one event or location are exposed to information about the many other ways they can enjoy Trinity County, resulting in more extended stays, return visits, and more tourism revenues.
